Faster Cruises with Point – Double Sampling

August 5-6, 2003

Auburn, AL – Auburn University Hotel & Dixon Conference Center

Sponsored by PRÉCEDA Education & Training

Point – double sampling can reduce cruising time by at least 1/3 over regular point sampling, which is in itself faster and more cost effective than plot sampling.  Anyone that can perform a plot or point sample can do a double sample, saving time both in the woods and in calculations.  Point sampling is particularly effective for multiple products and species.
